TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE SATURDAY ON VENICE AVENUE AND RIVER ROAD  

A temporary lane closure on Venice Avenue and River Road is planned for Saturday, September 30, starting at 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. A Florida Highway Patrol Officer will be on site directing traffic.  Motorists can expect slow moving traffic and may prefer an alternate route.  Please use caution in the construction zone.

PLANNED TEMPORARY FOUR-WAY STOP AT VENICE AVENUE AND RIVER ROAD  

During construction, a temporary four-way stop is in place at the intersection of Venice Avenue and River Road (SR 777) from Sunday, October 1, to Tuesday, October 3, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. A Florida Highway Patrol Officer will be on site directing traffic.  Motorists should plan for additional travel time. Use caution in the area or consider an alternate route.  

TRAFFIC SHIFT PLANNED AT CENTER ROAD AND RIVER ROAD INTERSECTION 

Starting Wednesday, October 4, at 12 a.m. to 4 a.m., a traffic shift will take place at the intersection of Center Road and River Road. Crews will begin striping operations on both the north and southbound lanes of River Road. During the striping operations, a Florida Highway Patrol officer will be present at the Center Road intersection. Please use caution in the area and consider additional travel time.
