US 27 and SR 60 will be widened from four to six lanes. Contractor will replace the bridges carrying SR 60 over US 27 and reconstruct the interchange from a partial cloverleaf design to a Single Point Urban Interchange.

  • Paved shoulders with the outside shoulder designated as a buffered bicycle lane
  • Curb and gutter along the inside and outside
  • Install a closed drainage system
  • Six-foot sidewalks

SR 60 improvements include:

  • Construct a new bridge over US 27
  • Widen roadway from four to six 11-foot lanes
  • Install a seven-foot bicycle lane
  • Curb and gutter along the inside and outside
