The scope of this project is to widen SR 25 (US 27) from a four-lane divided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway from MP 13.678 to MP 18.423. The project will include two types of roadway classifications, rural and suburban. Both the rural and suburban typical sections will include widening to both the inside and outside of the existing roadway to create the six-lane facility. The rural typical section will include eight-foot outside flush shoulders (five-foot paved) and eight-foot unpaved inside shoulders. The suburban typical section will include seven-foot outside paved shoulders and 6.5-foot paved inside shoulders. Curb and gutter will also be included on both the inside and outside shoulders within the limits of the suburban typical section. The entire project will be designated with seven-foot buffered bicycle lanes along the shoulders and drainage swales and ten-foot shared-use paths will be constructed near the existing right-of-way in both directions.

Right-of-Way:

Right-of-way acquisition will be required for the proposed roadway and drainage improvements, and stormwater management facilities.
