The Florida Department of Transportation will begin work on February 11, 2021, to make                  improvements to SR 17 at CR 17A in Highlands County.  

Project Improvements:

Add a right turn lane on SR 17 at CR 17A (Truck Route)

Resurface SR 17 and CR 17A within the project limits

Install new signage and  pavement markers

Improve road shoulders
