About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District One, is currently resurfacing US 92 (State Road 600) from west of Fish Hatchery Road to east of Reynolds Road in Polk County. The main objective of the project is milling and resurfacing the roadway, signal replacement at Fish Hatchery Road, and median improvements. Improvements also include upgrades to deficient driveways, lengthening of left turn lanes, and intersection improvements at Fish Hatchery Road.

This project is included in the Polk Transportation Planning Organization's (TPO) 2040 Momentum Plan as a regional freight corridor and is also a designated hurricane evacuation route.
