S.R. 25 (U.S. 27) from Shoreline Drive to Davis and Gaines Road and from north of Tower Street to south of Tower Street: Construction project: Crews are reconstructing rigid pavement on S.R. 25 (U.S. 27) from north of Tower Street to south of Tower Street. Additionally, milling and resurfacing work is ongoing on U.S. 27 from Shoreline Drive to Davis and Gaines Road.
- Daily daytime and nighttime lane closures continue on northbound and southbound S.R. 25 (U.S. 27) for paving, shoulder widening, lighting, signalization, and signage activities throughout the project limits.
- Nighttime paving activities are scheduled at the north end of the project through Thursday, August 27, and again from Sunday, August 30, through Wednesday, September 2. Additional nighttime paving is scheduled in September.
- Nighttime curb and gutter work is scheduled through Thursday, August 27, and again from Sunday, August 30, through Wednesday, September 2. Additional curb and gutter work is scheduled from September 8 through September 10.
- Daytime lighting, signalization, and signage activities will continue throughout the project limits.
- The northbound U.S. 27 lane shift moving traffic onto the newly constructed concrete pavement at the U.S. 27 and Dal Hall Boulevard/Tower Street intersection has been completed. Drivers should use extra caution while traveling through this area.
- Motorists should use caution at the U.S. 27 and Dal Hall Boulevard/Tower Street intersection due to construction traffic entering and leaving the work zone.
- Motorists should use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment in the construction zone.
Anticipated completion is late 2026.
