I-75 From South of Bonita Beach Road to North of Alico: Construction Project: Nighttime Lane closure operations will continue Sunday Nights through Thursday Nights for resurfacing operations for I-75 northbound and southbound.
- Nighttime lane closures and detours are scheduled to install new overhead signs along the Collector Distributor Roads South and North, scheduled for the weeks of January 12 and 19.
- This will also include ramp closures on the on-and-off ramps of Alico Road.
- Detoured traffic will be routed to Corkscrew Rd and Daniels Parkway to utilize Three Oaks Parkway and Treeline Avenue/Ben Hill Griffin Parkway to direct traffic back to Alico Road and the Terminal Access Road.
- Anticipated lane closures on the SB Collector Distributor Road and SB off ramp at Alico Rd are anticipated for the nights of January 12 and 13.
- Anticipated lane closures on the northbound Collector Distributor Road, northbound off and on ramps at Alico Road, and detoured for Terminal Access Road are anticipated for January 14, 15, 18, and 19.
Daytime activities will include:
- Continued installation of signs and I.T.S. items and Wrong Way Detection features.
- Overhead sign panel replacements from shoulders.
- Shoulder treatment and sod placement at various locations from Alico Road to the Lee/Collier County line.
The current work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
