The purpose of this study is to determine if there are feasible options to construct an overpass at the State Road (SR) 60/Mosaic railroad crossing by elevating SR 60 over the railroad tracks. Constructing an overpass at this location will eliminate the need for vehicles to stop for trains, increase roadway safety, and reduce evacuation and emergency response times. Each alternative will be evaluated for potential impacts on the natural, social, cultural and physical environment.
