About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is conducting routine maintenance along approximately 3.5 miles of US 27 (SR 25), from Berner Road to south of SR 80 in Hendry County. The project will help maintain roadway conditions and support safe and reliable travel for motorists throughout the corridor. The project has a construction cost of approximately $2.16 million.

U.S. 27 from South Berner Road to Stitt Ranch Road in Clewiston: Routine maintenance: Crews will perform nighttime milling and resurfacing operations on U.S. 27 between South Berner Road and Stitt Ranch Road, Hendry County, to repair deteriorated asphalt.
- Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, September 13, 2026.
- Nighttime lane closures will occur from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. while milling and resurfacing activities are underway.
- Motorists should use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and expect possible delays while traveling through the work zone.
Expected completion: October 18, 2026.
