  • 15th Street E (S.R. 70 Spur) from 30th Avenue E to 26th Avenue E: Construction project: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is milling and resurfacing 15th Street E (S.R. 70 Spur) from 30th Avenue E to 26th Avenue E in Manatee County. This safety project’s improvements also include installation of new sidewalk and existing sidewalk repairs, drainage work, lighting, signalization, signage and new pavement markings on approximately .25 miles.

    • Motorists can expect intermittent daytime and nighttime lane closures throughout the project limits.
    • Please be aware there may be uneven areas of pavement while work is underway.
    • Pedestrians can expect detours where sidewalks are being repaired or replaced.
    • Please follow signage and watch for workers in and near the roadway during daytime and nighttime hours.
    • The estimated completion is fall of 2026.
