  • 15th Street E (S.R. 70 Spur) from 30th Avenue E to 26th Avenue E: Construction project: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is milling and resurfacing 15th Street E (S.R. 70 Spur) from 30th Avenue E to 26th Avenue E in Manatee County starting in May of 2026. This safety project’s improvements also include installation of new sidewalk and existing sidewalk repairs, drainage work, lighting, signalization, signage and new pavement markings on approximately .25 miles.

    • Motorists can expect intermittent daytime and nighttime lane closures throughout the project limits.
    • Please be aware there may be uneven areas of pavement while work is underway.
    • Pedestrians can expect detours where sidewalks are being repaired or replaced.
    • Please follow signage and watch for workers in and near the roadway during daytime and nighttime hours.
    • The estimated completion is fall of 2026.
