FDOT is making improvements to the I-75 at Toledo Blade Boulevard and I-75 at Sumter Boulevard interchanges in Sarasota County, Florida.

452356-1: Sumter Boulevard 

The I-75 interchange at Sumter Boulevard project includes the installation of signals at both ramp connections. The improvements include signals, controlled pedestrian cross walks, intersection lighting and adding a northbound I-75 free flow on-ramp from southbound Sumter Boulevard. The improvements also provide dual left turn lanes from northbound Sumter Boulevard onto northbound I-75. Sumter Boulevard is an arterial under the jurisdiction of the City of North Port.

452357-1: Toledo Blade Boulevard

The I-75 interchange at Toledo Blade Boulevard project includes the installation of signals at both ramp connections. The improvements include signals, controlled pedestrian cross walks, intersection lighting and adding a northbound I-75 free flow on-ramp from southbound Toledo Blade Boulevard. The improvements also provide dual left turn lanes from northbound Toledo Blade Boulevard onto northbound I-75. The completed project includes widening of the northbound lanes to provide 2 full lanes through the Toledo Blade Boulevard interchange. Toledo Blade Boulevard is an arterial under the jurisdiction of the City of North Port.

FDOT will be hosting a Pre-Construction Information Session for the public to learn about the improvements and construction schedule. The meeting will take place:
