I-75 (I-275/US 19) Northbound/Southbound Skyway Rest Area: Construction project: Improvements consist of installing Intelligent Transportations Systems (ITS) and Truck Parking Availability Systems (TPAS) at the northbound/southbound Skyway Rest Area in Manatee County and west and east of the rest area. The project spans a total of 1.9 miles. Crews will clear and grub, make sidewalk improvements, remove existing concrete, add fencing and channeling devices, and install poles, wiring and conduct utility work for the new electronic systems.
