About
The SR 600 (US 92) Resurfacing from west of Jersey Rd to west of SR 555 (US 17) project is in the Design phase and is intended to extend the service life of the existing roadway and improve safety. This project will close the median opening 1,000 ft northeast of the intersection of US 92 and Lynchburg Rd. It will also include: milling and resurfacing of the existing pavement and outside shoulders along US 92; construction of inside paved shoulders along the median in both directions; widening at the existing right-turn lanes to provide keyhole bicycle lanes; replacement of the existing median curb; minor drainage improvements; minor signalization and other improvements at the intersection with Lynchburg Rd to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) criteria; driveway reconstruction; new pavement markings; and updated signage.

Tuesday, April 11, 2023 – Live Online Public Meeting at 5:00 p.m.
The virtual meeting will begin with a brief project presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.

Thursday, April 13, 2023 – In-Person Public Meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the First Church of God, 3025 Highway 92 West, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
The in-person meeting will be open house format; no formal presentation will be made. There will be a looping presentation which will include details on the project in addition to exhibit boards displaying project information.
