About

This FDOT resurfacing project is designed to improve the rideability of SR 37 by milling out the old asphalt and replacing it with new asphalt. To improve safety, the edge lines and center lines will include rumble strips designed to provide a tactile and audible rumbling to alert drivers when they are leaving the travel lane.

The speed limit will remain 60 mph during construction. There are no lane closure restrictions on this section of SR 37, so motorists should watch for lane closures with flaggers directing traffic during the daytime or nighttime/overnight.

This project is combined with the resurfacing project further north on SR 37 from north of CR 640 to Moses Street. (450889-1). Both projects have different lane closure restrictions and speed limits so be sure to review information on each project for detailed information.
