FAQs

Are these changes already decided on?
These are proposed changes. The purpose of the public meeting (on October 21, 2025) is to gather community feedback and input.

Will all locations be receiving a crosswalk and pedestrian hybrid beacon (PHB)?
Only the SR 45/USB 41 (8th Avenue West) at 11th Street Drive West location is proposed to receive a pedestrian mid-block crossing with a pedestrian hybrid beacon (Project number 444904-1). The other locations listed are proposed changes to the existing median openings. More details and graphics will be shared at the public meeting. Those materials will be posted on this webpage on October 20, 2025 in advance of the meeting.

Do I have to attend in person to make my comment?

Any of these methods will make sure the project team receives your input:

  • Written on a comment form at the in-person meeting on October 21, 2025
  • Emailing Amara DeCicco a comment before November 3, 2025
  • Mailing a comment to Amara DeCicco before November 3, 2025

What if I can only attend virtually and still have questions about the project?
Several staff members will be standing by between 5 and 6 p.m. on October 21, 2025 to answer your questions through the chat function of the virtual webinar. Comments and questions submitted online or in person are equally valued. We appreciate your participation and are glad you’re able to join the meeting in whichever format works best for you.
