- Expect northbound and southbound nighttime/overnight lane closures south of I-4 and daytime lane closures north of I-4. Use caution and be prepared to merge as crews work on restoring curb, sidewalks and sodding throughout the project.
- Pipe crew will be working at the I-4 ramps at night/overnight. Use caution and watch for changes in the traffic patterns at the ramps and lane closures on US 98 both north and southbound.
- Pedestrians should follow the sidewalk detours and temporary crosswalks to safely travel throughout the project.

Crews will continue drainage improvements on South 3rd Street and SR 17. South 3rd Street is closed from East Bullard Road to Johnson Avenue with all traffic detoured onto SR 17. Use caution and follow the posted detour.

Week of Sunday, August 24 through Saturday, August 30, 2025:
This week workers will continue installing drainage and water lines along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard and on Gilmore Avenue.
- Gilmore Avenue remains closed from Parkview Place to Julius T Horney Drive through late September. The closure is necessary as crews install new water pipe, sanitary pipe, and storm drains along Gilmore Avenue. Follow posted detour signs to navigate around the closure.
- Lakeland Hills Boulevard will be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic at night/overnight while crews continue installing drainage beneath Lakeland Hills Boulevard. Use caution and be prepared to stop.
- Watch for side street closures along the east side of Lakeland Hills Boulevard as crews work to install new storm drains and water lines. Any side street closures will utilize the adjacent side streets to route traffic east towards Gilmore Avenue to the respective closed street.
- Traffic will remain in one lane in each direction for most of the duration of construction. Use caution, be prepared to merge or stop, and plan for delays.
- The speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph during construction.

- Expect northbound and southbound daytime lane closures from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from north of Homeland-Garfield Road to Oak Hammock Loop.
- Watch for 24-hour lane closures at the following locations:
- Northbound US 17 south of Homeland-Garfield Road
- Southbound US 17 south of CR 640
- Southbound US 17 south of Austin Philip Lane
- Expect Northbound outside lane closure at the guardrail south of Homeland-Garfield Road, Monday, August 25 through Friday, August 29.
- Unexpected repairs to an underground drainage structure are required at the CR 640/Homeland-Garfield Intersection. The US 17 southbound left turn lane will be closed Monday, August 25 and possibly Tuesday, August 26.
- Use caution and be prepared to merge.

SR 70 from Lorraine Road to Bourneside Boulevard, Bradenton: Construction project: This project includes widening SR 70 from Lorraine Road to Bourneside Boulevard from a two-lane undivided roadway to a four-lane or six-lane divided roadway, depending on the location, construction of roundabouts on SR 70 at Uihlein Road, Del Webb Boulevard, and Bourneside Boulevard, intersection improvements at the existing signalized intersection of Greenbrook Boulevard and Lorraine Road, construction of four bridges over two Braden River crossing locations, new drainage system, construction of 10-foot shared use paths, street lighting, and landscaping, and installation of new fiber optic cable connecting the two signalized intersections to Manatee County’s regional Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS).
This week’s work will consist of:
- Crews will grade stabilization between Arbor Green Trail and Greenbrook Boulevard.
- Installation of curb between Arbor Green Trail and Greenbrook Boulevard
· Sod will be placed along the outside swales for eastbound SR 70 between Uihlein Road and Paving will occur for future eastbound lanes between Uihlein Road and Greenbrook Boulevard.
· Excavation of the pond on the north side of SR 70 West of Uihlein Road.
- Embankment hauling and grading will occur between Bourneside Boulevard and Polo Run on the north side of SR 70. Trucks will be crossing current SR 70 travel lanes. Please be aware of flaggers stopping traffic for this crossing.
- Crews will grade stabilization between Bourneside Boulevard and Polo Run on the north side of SR 70.
- Installation of drainage pipe between Bourneside Boulevard and Polo Run on the north side of SR 70.
Please use caution and watch for trucks and construction vehicles entering or exiting the work zone throughout the construction limits. Work will occur Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please use caution and be aware of workers and flaggers in the area.
Uihlein Road is expected to be closed in September 2025 to construct the north portion of the Uihlein Road roundabout. During this time no traffic will be permitted on Uihlein Road between SR 70 and Sapphire Point Drive in either direction. A complete detour and message boards will be provided in advance of the closure being implemented.

SR 70 from Bourneside Boulevard to Waterbury Road, Bradenton: Construction project: This project includes widening SR 70 from Bourneside Boulevard to Waterbury Road from a two-lane undivided roadway to a four-lane divided roadway, Safety features will include roundabouts to be constructed at 197th Street East/Lindrick Lane, 213th Street East, 225th Street East/Panther Ridge Trail and County Road 675/Waterbury Road. The project will also include the installation of a new drainage system, new curb and gutter, construction of 10-foot shared-use paths and 5-foot paved shoulders on both sides of the roadway, street lighting throughout the project and landscaping inside the roundabouts.
This week’s work will consist of:
· Grade for the future shared-use path and roadway on the south side of SR 70 between 213th Street 213th Street and Meadow Dove Lane.
· Future eastbound construction will continue with stabilized subgrade and base construction between 213th Street and Meadow Dove Lane, on the south side of SR 70.
· Grading of embankment and stabilization west of Lindrick Lane on the south side of SR 70.
· Utility relocation work will occur on the North side of SR 70 on the shoulder.
· Installation of concrete foundations and pull boxes for future lighting on the south side of SR 70 from Lindrick Lane to Meadow Dove Lane.
· Construction of a box culvert between Lindrick Lane and 213th Street in existing SR 70 lanes at the location where traffic was diverted.
213th Street is expected to be closed in October 2025 to construct the South portion of the 213th Street Road roundabout. During this time no traffic will be permitted to enter or exit 213th via SR 70. A complete detour and message boards will be provided in advance of the closure being implemented.

I-75 at SR 951 (exit 101) Interchange Improvements: FDOT is reconstructing the I-75 southbound on- and off-ramp connections and the northbound on-ramp connection to the mainline lanes at SR 951 (exit 101). The northeast quadrant loop ramp will be connected to, and accessible only by, a direct flyover ramp from northbound Collier Boulevard starting south of the Davis Boulevard intersection. This single-lane flyover ramp will carry traffic over Beck Boulevard and a reconstructed I-75 southbound on-ramp. A single-lane flyover ramp extension will carry I-75 southbound traffic over Davis Boulevard to a new signalized intersection at Collier Boulevard and Business Circle North. This ramp will extend along the western side of Collier Boulevard.
The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen underground conditions.
Motorists should expect a nighttime/overnight lane closure for eastbound SR 84/Davis Boulevard from Market Street to SR 951/Collier Boulevard. Motorists traveling eastbound on SR 84/Davis Boulevard must use Market Street to Business Circle South to CR 951/Collier Boulevard.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures for southbound and northbound CR 951/Collier Boulevard during nighttime/overnight hours for crews to move equipment, deliver materials, and construct the overhead bridge work.
Motorists should expect both northbound and southbound CR 951/Collier Boulevard travel lanes to shift from Business Circle South to I-75 to create work zones for crews to construct the elevated roadway.
Motorists should expect the outside right turn lane from southbound SR 951 to westbound SR 84/Davis Boulevard closed. Drivers can continue to turn right from the remaining open turn lane. This closure is needed for crews to begin work for the bridge foundation installation and will remain in place through job completion.
Pedestrians should expect a sidewalk closure along SR 84 (Davis Boulevard) just west of SR 951 (Collier Boulevard) and along SR 951 (Collier Boulevard) between SR 84 (Davis Boulevard) and Business Circle North. Pedestrians may use SR 84 (Davis Boulevard) to Market Street to Business Circle South to access SR 951 (Collier Boulevard).
Motorists are advised that the SR 84 (Davis Boulevard) eastbound direct access ramp heading south to SR 951 (Collier Boulevard) is permanently closed. The eastbound to southbound right turn will be available at the intersection.
Motorists should expect reduced lane widths for southbound Collier Boulevard between Business Circle North and Business Circle South.

Sunday, August 24th to Saturday, August 30th:
Lane Closures:
- Beginning Monday, August 25, through Thursday, August 28, the right southbound lane across Matanzas Pass will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as crews install conduit for permanent bridge lighting. One lane of traffic in each direction will remain open throughout the duration of the work.
- Beginning Sunday, August 24, through Thursday, August 28, from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. motorists should expect single lane closures as crews work on bridge joints across Hurricane Pass Bridge.
During construction, motorists should expect intermittent nighttime/overnight lane closures.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution and reduce their speed while driving through the work zone.

I-75 at Pine Ridge Road (exit 107) Interchange Improvements: FDOT is reconstructing the I-75 at Pine Ridge Road interchange. The interchange improvements include reconstruction of the Pine Ridge Road Interchange converting to a Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) design, reconstruction of the interchange on and off ramps, construction of pedestrian and bicycle accommodations through the interchange, installation of new signals at the ramps, and resurfacing of Pine Ridge Road through the project area.
The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and unforeseen underground conditions.
During the nighttime/overnight hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., motorists should anticipate lane closures on Pine Ridge Road. Please use extra caution when driving through this area and expect delays.
Please note that the westbound lanes of Pine Ridge Road have shifted one lane to the south, and traffic on the southbound off-ramp has shifted one lane to the east.
Crews will be working on drainage installation, roadway work, pond excavation and underground utilities.
Crews will be working on clearing and grubbing and installing erosion control throughout the project area.

SR 29 and SR 90 (US 41) Resurfacing and Road Improvements: FDOT is resurfacing SR 29 from north of Wagon Wheel Road to south of I-75, and SR 90 (US 41) from south of Southwest Boulevard to north of Thomasson Drive in Collier County. Improvements to both SR 29 and US 41 include milling and resurfacing, shoulder improvements and new signing and pavement markings. Additional improvements to US 41 include reconstruction of concrete sidewalks, replacement of curbs and installation of pedestrian curb ramps, and replacement of traffic signal detection loops.
The following activities are subject to change based on weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists should anticipate lane closures throughout the duration of construction.
Work on US 41:
Crews will be working on milling and paving during nighttime/overnight hours with lane closures anticipated from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Flaggers will be on site to assist motorists.
Work on SR 29:
Crews will be working on mowing and litter removal.
Crews are working close to the roadway. Please exercise caution in the work zone, obey the posted speed limits, and anticipate delays. The expected completion date is early 2026.

Sanibel Causeway Emergency Restoration: Reduced speed limits remain enforced east of the toll plaza. Pedestrians are not permitted on the Sanibel Causeway.
The following work activities above are scheduled to occur, however unforeseen underground conditions and weather may affect this schedule.
The Punta Rassa Boat Ramp is now open to the public with limited amenities, including the ramp, partial docks, parking and restrooms. Lighting work continues at the toll plaza. Crews must utilize the Punta Rassa parking area, reducing the number of boat parking spaces. Please use caution as construction vehicles and crews are present.
The contractor is installing sod and signage east of the toll plaza.
All users are urged to be courteous and pay attention as bicyclists share the road on the Causeway and vehicles are entering and existing at public beach access points of the Causeway Islands Park. Visitors may check www.leegov.com/parks for updates on amenities.

US 301 from Desoto Road to University Parkway: Construction project: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin milling and resurfacing US 301 from Desoto Road to University Parkwayin Sarasota County mid-fall 2025. In addition to resurfacing, crews will perform shoulder treatment and apply new signing and pavement markings. The project limits cover approximately .5 miles with an estimated cost of $1.1 million.
- Motorists should expect temporary nighttime lane closures within the project limits
- Motorists can expect crews to be intermittently working in and around the project limits during the day·
- In September, Seminole Gulf Railway will repair the railroad crossing at US 301 with temporary daytime lane closures
- Estimated project completion is mid- 2026.

SR 64 from Pear St to S Barlow Road: Construction project: he State Road 64 improvement project in Hardee County includes milling and resurfacing existing pavement, reconstructing worn sections of roadway, improving drainage systems, replacing and installing guardrails, updating signage and pavement markings, and enhancing driveway turnouts for safer access. Please use caution in the area and watch for workers, traffic signage, detours and equipment throughout the project.
- Intermittent single-lane closures on SR 64 eastbound and southbound will occur throughout the project limits for driveway milling and paving operations.
- Motorists should use caution in the area, watch for workers, equipment, and signage, and expect changing traffic patterns.
- Motorists should anticipate longer delays in queues, follow posted signs, and consider alternative routes.

SR 78 over Fisheating Creek Bridge and Herbert Hoover Bridge: Construction project: Crews began bridge repair and rehabilitation work on SR 78 at the Fisheating Creek Bridge and Herbert Hoover Bridge.
- Motorists should anticipate shoulder closures in both northbound and southbound directions, extending through the weekend.
- Drivers should expect the right shoulder closure for northbound traffic near south of Lake Port.
- Crews will be performing intermittent single lane closures on SR 78 just south of Lake Port in both northbound and southbound directions during daytime hours, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. throughout August. Use caution when traveling through the area and obey posted signage

I-275 (SR 93) from I-75 to Terra Ceia River: Construction project: Crews will begin milling, resurfacing and installing pavement markings on 2.2 miles of roadway on I-275 (SR 93) from I-75 to Terra Ceia River in late August, 2025. The project improvements include milling and resurfacing, shoulder and ramp work, overbuild for cross slope correction, guardrail and signing and pavement markings.
- Motorists can expect single-lane closures on I-275 overnight throughout construction
- Motorists can expect on- and off-ramp closures at the intersection of US 41 and I-275 with overnight detours. Only one ramp will be closed at a time
- Motorists may wish to use alternate routes if traveling in the area from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

US 41 from West of West Villages Parkway to Woodmere Road: Construction project: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin milling and resurfacing US 41 from west of West Villages Parkway to Woodmere Road. The project limits cover approximately 5 miles. In addition to resurfacing crews will perform shoulder treatment, install vehicle detection systems and apply new signing and pavement markings.
- Motorists can expect temporary nighttime lane closures throughout the project.
- Motorists can expect crews to be present intermittently during the day throughout the project.
Expected completion is late 2026.

SR 25 (US 27) from Stitt Ranch to west of Flaghole Road: Construction project: Crews will begin milling and resurfacing work on SR 25 (US 27) from Stitt Ranch to west of Flaghole Road in Hendry County. The project includes guardrail improvements, drainage enhancements, updated signage, and new pavement markings.
- Motorists should anticipate single-lane closures in both eastbound and westbound directions for the installation of work zone signs, erosion control devices, drainage improvements, removal and replacement of guardrail, placement of miscellaneous asphalt pavement, and milling and resurfacing of the mainline.
- Drivers should use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment in the construction zone

SR 25 (US 27) from Shoreline Drive to Davis and Gaines Road and SR 25 (US 27) from North of Tower Street to South of Tower Street: Construction project: Crews are reconstructing rigid pavement on SR 25 (US 27) from north of Tower Street to south of Tower Street. Additionally, milling and resurfacing work is ongoing on US 27 from Shoreline Drive to Davis and Gaines Road.
- Caution: New Traffic Pattern. Traffic has been shifted into Phase III to reopen the southbound lanes. Motorists should expect daytime and nighttime lane closures on both northbound and southbound lanes throughout the project limits.
- Nighttime lane closure on US 27 and Interlake Boulevard / CR 621 intersection to construct a new signalized intersection.
- Southbound outside lane closures are in place between E Royal Palm Street and Shoreline Drive.
- Median access at CR 29 and Old State Rd 8 will be permanently closed to improve safety and traffic flow.
- Motorists should use caution, as a new median configuration is in place at Heartland Boulevard.
- Motorists should anticipate an inside lane closure northbound and southbound between Shoreline Drive and Interlake Boulevard for median widening.
- Shoulder closures are ongoing in both directions between Shoreline Drive and south of Interlake Boulevard, and from Lake Clay Drive South to Tomoka Boulevard North, for the lighting scope of work.
- Wawa and Mobil driveways have been reopened
- Construction operations will be suspended August 29 through September 1 for the Labor Day holiday.
- Motorists should use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment in the construction zone.

SR 25 (US 27) from South of Horn Road to South of Shoreline Drive: Construction project: Crews have begun milling, resurfacing, and widening the roadway. The project includes enhancing drainage, installing and upgrading guardrails, and adding concrete pavement markings and signage.
- Motorists should expect daytime lane closures on the northbound and southbound outside lanes of US 27, as well as construction activity at the intersection of SR 70.
- Intermittent lane closures for paving operations resume and will continue throughout the duration of the project. Three-mile Lane closures will be in place in both northbound and southbound directions to accommodate this work.
- Construction operations will be suspended from Aug. 29 through Sept. 1 for the Labor Day holiday.
- Motorists should use caution, follow posted signs, and watch for workers and equipment in the construction zone.

SR 15 (US 98/ US 441) from Martin County Line to SE 108th Drive: Construction project: will begin resurfacing work on SR 15 (US 98) from SE 30th Terrace to the Martin County line. The project includes pavement resurfacing, grinding, new pavement markings, and shoulder treatment.
- Crews will be performing milling and sod treatment along the shoulder during daytime hours with no lane closures.
- Motorists should be aware of heavy equipment and workers present in the construction zone.
- Use caution when traveling through the area and obey posted signage and flagging operations.
Overall project completion is expected in summer 2026.

SR 15/US 441 from NE 39th Blvd to NW 3rd St: Construction project: Crews will be performing curb ramp replacements and sidewalk, curb, and gutter installations during daytime hours with no lane closures.
- Motorists should be aware of heavy equipment and workers present in the construction zone.
- Use caution when traveling through the area and obey posted signage and flagging operations.
- The estimated remaining duration of activities is 3-4 weeks

SR 66 from US 17 (SR 35) to Charlie Creek: Construction project: Crews will mill and resurface SR 66 from US 17 to Charlie Creek. Improvements will include milling and resurfacing. Motorists expect a detour for phase I reconstruction at Merle Langford Road when the westbound lane of SR 66 is closed for construction. Eastbound SR 66 will remain open throughout. Other improvements consist of sidewalk construction, drainage structures, guardrails, curb and gutter, new pavement markings and other safety improvements. Please use caution in the area and watch for workers, traffic signage, detours and equipment throughout the project.
- The detour will remain in place throughout the duration of the project. Westbound SR 66 was closed from Merle Langford Road to US 17, with traffic detoured via Steve Roberts Special and SR 64. Eastbound SR 66 remained open.
- Phase II reconstruction work began on June 24, 2025. Westbound SR 66 remains closed, with the same detour route in effect. This phase supports additional resurfacing and safety improvements. Portable message signs and barricades are in place. Temporary pedestrian routes are provided where sidewalks are closed.
- Motorists should anticipate longer delays in queues, follow posted signs, and consider alternative routes.

SR 70 from Peace River to Southeast Baker Street: Construction project: Crews will reconstruct approximately 3.4 miles of SR 70 within the City of Arcadia. The project includes the installation of new drainage facilities, relocation and addition of sanitary and water and utilities, upgrading traffic signals, reconstructing sidewalks, and installing street lighting in various locations. During construction, lane closures will occur on SR 70. Temporary pedestrian pathways are in place while sidewalks are under construction. Detours will be implemented while crews work on side roads. Please follow posted signage and use caution in the area.
- Eastbound SR 70 traffic is currently using the right lane from the Peace River to Baldwin Avenue. Between Baldwin Avenue and Dade Avenue, traffic shifts to the left lane, then back to the right lane past Dade Avenue. Traffic continues in the south lane until Roger Avenue, where it shifts back to the north lane. No lane restrictions are in place past Baker Street.
- Westbound SR 70 traffic remains in the right lane until Volusia Avenue, where it shifts to the left lane. Between Polk Avenue and Monroe Avenue, traffic shifts back to the right lane. No lane restrictions are in place past the Peace River.
- Westbound traffic between Volusia Avenue and Polk Avenue will shift from the south lane to the north lane on the night of Wednesday, August 20th . Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area with the new traffic pattern.

US 27 (SR 25) at SR 78 Intersection: Construction project: Crews will be reconstructing the intersection with concrete pavement. Other improvements include milling, resurfacing, drainage, guardrail, signing, and pavement markings. Please use caution in the area and watch for workers, traffic signage, detours, and equipment throughout the project.
- SR 78 is closed between US 27 for roadway reconstruction, with the closure in effect through September 2, 2025. Both eastbound and westbound turn lanes from US 27 to SR 78 are also closed during this time. US 98 (State Road 700) from East of Floral Drive to East of County Road 621: Construction project: Crews have begun milling, resurfacing, and widening the roadway. The project also includes drainage enhancements, guardrail upgrades, and updated signage.
- Shoulder closures will be in place on both northbound and southbound US 98 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- US 98 will be reduced to one lane with flagging operations to allow for construction activities. Three-mile closures will resume next week to accommodate paving operations. Construction operations will be suspended Aug. 29 through Sept. 1 for the Labor Day holiday.
- Motorists should use caution in the area and watch for workers and equipment in the construction.

Clark Road (SR 72) from Honore Avenue to West of Gantt Road: Construction project: The Florida Department of Transportation will commence milling, resurfacing, installing curb, gutter, drainage and pavement markings on less than one-half mile on Clark Road (SR 72) from Honore Avenue to west of Gantt Road in Sarasota County in June.
- Motorists can expect intermittent single- and dual-lane closures overnight throughout the project.
- Please watch for signs, barricades and workers close to the travel lanes and obey posted speed limits in the construction zone.
- The Palmer Crossing Mall entrance off Clark Road at Chick-fil-A /Shell gas station/Jimmy John’s will have a temporary road closure starting on July 11 that will continue for approximately three months. Patrons can access the businesses via two other entrances to the mall off Clark Road and two entrances off Honore

SR 777 River Road from I-75 to US 41: Construction project: Road embankment installation continues on the northbound roadway from Aucilla Drive to US 41. As embankment is completed, drainage installations, subgrade mixing, curb placement, and roadway grading will continue. Sod installation, signal, ITS, and lighting work are ongoing. Noise wall installation at the Caribbean Village Community will continue until complete. Trucks will be crossing the road at various locations using intermittent flagging operations. Pothole maintenance will continue as necessary on all current travel ways through the project.

SR 31 at CR 74 (Bermont Road) Roundabout Construction: Construction project: These improvements will include constructing a roundabout, milling and resurfacing, upgrading drainage, installing new lighting, adding landscaping, signing and pavement marking. Throughout construction, motorists should expect intermittent daytime and nighttime/overnight lane closures.
- Motorists should expect to see crews performing work during the daytime hours, beginning Monday, August 18, through Thursday, August 21, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Crews will be installing concrete curbs and the concrete truck apron for the roundabout, performing asphalt work, installing conduits and pull boxes for permanent lighting, and installing base along CR 74.

US 41 (Tamiami Trail) from William Street to Peace River Bridge: Construction Project:
The contractor will perform drainage work at the intersection of Rhetta Esplanade and northbound US 41, which will require the closure of the side street and detour of traffic. Motorists should follow the posted detour
Motorists should expect additional drainage work to start on northbound US 41 at Virginia Avenue. Motorists should expect a traffic shift during this work.
- Motorists should expect double lane closures during the nighttime/overnight hours while the contractor is milling and paving the right lane of SR 45 (US 41) Northbound from Virginia Avenue to Marion Street. Motorists should also expect a single lane closure for crews to perform guardrail work approaching the Peace River Bridge.

US 41 Business (9th Street West) from 6th Avenue to Manatee Avenue/SR 64: Construction project: The improvements consist of milling and resurfacing, drainage upgrades, modification and removal of a left turn lane, signalization, lighting, and signing and pavement markings. Single-lane closures will occur throughout the project through completion.
- Please be alert for intermittent lane closures overnight as the contractor performs drainage improvements, signal, lighting, and resurfacing operations.
- Median work on US 41 Business northbound from 6th Avenue West to Manatee Avenue/SR 64 will continue with intermittent lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. throughout the project. Please use caution or plan to use an alternate route.
- The left-hand turn lane going northbound on US 41 Business from 6th Avenue West to Manatee Avenue/SR 64 westbound has been permanently closed. As an alternate route, motorists wanting to go westbound on Manatee Avenue/SR 64 can turn left on 8th Avenue West and turn right onto 10th Street West northbound and then make a left onto Manatee Avenue/SR 64.
- Project completion is expected mid-2025.

CR 664 from East of Pool Road to North of Palm Drive: Construction project: Crews have begun work on CR 664 from East of Pool Road to North Palm Drive to remove and replace Bridge No. 060034 over Little Payne Creek.
- Expect a full road closure on CR 664 between East of Pool Road and North Palm Drive starting January 6, 2025, lasting approximately 250 days.
- A detour route is in place to guide motorists safely around the construction zone. Access will be maintained for local traffic only.
- Completion is expected in late 2025.

SR 64 from 10th Street East to Braden River: Construction project: Crews are working on milling and resurfacing, adding drainage improvements, replacing guardrails, new pedestrian signals, temporary and permanent electrical improvements, pavement reconstruction, sidewalks and curb and ramp reconstruction, signing and pavement markings, signalization, and lighting.
- Pedestrians can expect detours throughout the project and are encouraged to use caution.

US 301 from 25th Court East to 13th Avenue East: Construction project: Crews are in the final stages of a 7.6-mile improvement project consisting of milling and resurfacing the roadway, widening in areas, base work, curb and gutter, sidewalk, guardrail, drainage improvements, bridge expansion joints, signalization, and pavement marking.
- Motorists can expect daytime shoulder closures along US 301 for shoulder construction at intersections between 25th Court East and 13th Avenue East.
- Motorists can expect intermittent nighttime shoulder widening at various intersections Sunday through Thursday for the next few weeks.

- Motorists traveling eastbound SR 78 attempting to access Southwest 10th Place are encouraged to continue eastbound until they reach Nicholas Parkway and U-turn at the intersection. They can then continue westbound until they reach Southwest 10th Place.
- Motorists traveling westbound on Pine Island Road will not be able to access the left (southbound) turn lane onto Skyline Boulevard. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
- Motorists traveling westbound SR 78 attempting to access Skyline Boulevard are encouraged to continue westbound until they reach Chiquita Boulevard and U-turn at the intersection. They can then continue eastbound until they reach Skyline Boulevard.

Motorists should expect intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures during the daytime and nighttime/overnight hours throughout the duration of the project.
- Work consists of bridge construction, adding lanes and reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, drainage, grass median, sidewalk, guardrail, shared-use path, detention ponds excavation, signalization, lighting, and signing and pavement markings.
- Crews will be performing roadway widening, including clearing & grubbing, excavations, and embankment construction on the westbound and eastbound of the roadway. Crews will be performing bridge deck construction on the westbound of the roadway.
- Motorists should anticipate lane closures with flagging operations on State Road 82.
- Frequent and brief flagging operations are taking place throughout the day to assist trucks in safely crossing the road within project limits
- Moss Solar is putting up a solar energy field just East of the project limits. They will have numerous trucks from now until mid to late July delivering the solar equipment out to their site, in addition to 200-300 project personnel traveling through the SR 82 corridor beginning sometime in July.
